Get Google Adwords Free? The Real Deal Or A Scam?

A new ebook called Get Google Ads Free has hit the market that claims its author regularly gets Google Adwords free, and promises to show you how to get free google ads for yourself. But does it deliver on its promise or is it just a scam?

The headline certainly caught my eye:

"Internet Marketer Gets $87 Million in Google Pay-Per-Click Ads FREE!"

I've used Adwords many times. It's an effective way to drive highly-targeted traffic to your website, but it can be expensive if you don't know what you're doing.

So obviously the bold promises made in the salesletter intrigued me. Who wouldn't want to get free advertising on the world's largest search engine?

But a big red flag popped up too. Google isn't stupid. They can't possibly let this happen. And if by some miracle this guy did find a loophole that allowed him to get google adwords free, why the hell would he tell anyone? That kind of knowledge would be worth millions, not the $67 he's charging for it.

I was dying to know the author's secret. But I wasn't surprised to find there was no "secret" at all.

The method he uses to get Google Adwords free can be summed up in one short paragraph:

Run an Adwords campaign to drive traffic to your site (you have to PAY for these ads by the way). Then place banner ads on your site and when your visitors click on them you get paid. Hopefully, you'll get paid more than you paid to Adwords and you can then consider your Google Adwords "free".

Hmmmph. I have several problems with this.

First, this is no secret. It's common sense followed by pretty much anyone who owns a website. This site has some advertising on it and if you click on an ad or make a purchase I make a little money. It helps keep this site free.

Secondly, you don't get Google Adwords free at all. You have to pay for the ads up front and then hope that you make enough money with other advertising to make a profit. This is called arbitrage and you can make a fortune if you do it right. But mastering Google Adwords is not easy, and you can lose your shirt if you don't know what you're doing.

The sales copy is blatantly misleading and the ebook doesn't deliver on its promise at all. Don't waste your money.

But how do I get rich with Google Adwords?

I've used Adwords, but I'm no expert. There are a lot of tricks involved in getting the most bang for your buck.

If you want to start online advertising with Google Adwords, start small. Test to see which ads work and which don't. Then you can drop the losers and pour more money into the ads that are successful.

Mastering Google Adwords is not easy. There's a steep learning curve and its way too complicated for me to go over here. If you really want to learn how to get rich with Google, I suggest reading Adwords Miracle. It's an awesome ebook written by Chris McNeeney, a well known marketer who earns his full time living through Google Adwords. He knows what he's talking about.

Chris starts with the basics of setting up an Adwords account and starting your first campaign. He then moves on to more advanced techniques that teach you how to find the most profitable keywords and how to test your ads to weed out the losers. His section on writing effective ads is worth the price of the book alone.

You can use Adwords to promote any website, business, service, ebay auction, or affiliate product you can imagine. Not everyone will find it easy, but if you use Adwords Miracle as your step-by-step guide you'll be ahead of 90% of your competition.
